Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Technical training or 1–2 years bench experience preferred.
  • Reads and interprets maintenance manuals to identify procedures.
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate units using official documents.
  • Knowledge of mechanical tools, meters, and gauges.
  • Ability to work with little supervision; follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate units using schematics and manuals.
  • Inspect and test mechanical aircraft components for defects.
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect components.
  • Repair or replace damaged parts.
  • Reassemble and test units for proper operation.
  • Follow established CMM practices and procedures.
  • Report to lead, supervisor, or manager.
