Job summary

Safran S.A. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Avionics Technician II for the second shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) in Grand Prairie, TX.

You will perform testing, repairs, disassembly/assembly, and detailed documentation in the ERP system while ensuring adherence to FAA regulations and CMM specifications. The role requires 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and quality requirements
• Familiarity with CMM, torque tools, and precision measurement
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Adherence to safety rules and PPE usage

Responsibilities

• Perform testing procedures on equipment and validate results
• Repair aviation units in accordance with FAA regulations and CMM
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble parts meeting tolerances
• Document activities and track parts in ERP system
• Follow procedures, escalate issues, and notify supervisors as needed
• Support shop compliance with regulatory and quality standards
• Contribute to process improvements to reduce cycle time
• Ensure components meet quality standards and customer requirements
