Job summary

Safran S.A. in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks an Electronic Avionics Technician II to diagnose and repair SRUs and related circuitry, using DVMs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.

You will follow FAA regulations and the Component Maintenance Manual, document activities in the ERP system, and uphold strong quality and safety standards while supporting process improvements. Second shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related experience or training.
• Experience in avionics repair and diagnostic procedures.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and CMM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair units down to SRU level per manuals and specifications.
• Perform standard tests and validate results on electronic avionics hardware.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble parts meeting tolerances.
• Document activities and track parts in the ERP system accurately.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental regulations and policies.
• Support process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
