Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (Electrician - CH-47) to inspect and perform electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components according to drawings, manuals, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing wiring, diagnosing malfunctions, and preparing maintenance records. Minimums include a high school diploma and relevant aviation experience; a valid driver’s license is required and tools must be provided by the candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training is desired; certification of education level is required.
• Valid A&P and/or FCC license (optional).
• Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing aircraft experience, and two years on the assigned MDS within the last six years.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must provide own tools/toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and performs electrical maintenance on aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Installs, removes, inspects, tests, adjusts, or repairs avionics equipment and wiring on aircraft.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs malfunctions in electrical/electronic components.
• Maintains and tests electrical/electronic elements of assemblies and components.
• Performs scheduled inspections and assists in special inspections.
• Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
