Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation in Pennsylvania seeks an experienced CH-47 aircraft mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of airframes, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and associated systems. You will interpret blueprints and manuals, use specialized tools, and support engineers and customers while ensuring compliance with maintenance procedures.

Required: high school diploma, 5+ years CH-47 experience, and U.S. citizenship; A&P certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate is desired.
• 5+ years of CH-47 experience is required.
• 15T course graduate or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Familiar with AR 95-20, DA PAM 738-751, AR 700-138 and related manuals.
• Must have own tools and meet minimum tool list requirements with FOD control.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structures components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Use technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine malfunctions and restore equipment.
• Solve complex problems by interpreting blueprints or manuals.
• Utilize aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, micrometers and more.
• Provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers.
• Organize workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.
• Make entries in aircraft logs and records.
• Provide guidance to lower level technicians during modifications and maintenance.
