Team JAS, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Electrical Component Technician to troubleshoot, test, modify, and repair aircraft electrical and electronic components on our MRO team. The role uses a variety of hand tools and test equipment and requires accurate documentation of repairs and materials used.

FAA regulations and company procedures guide every task. Preferred candidates have strong electrical or electronics skills, hands-on problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical or electronics skills with troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with soldering and component repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, modify, and repair aircraft electrical/electronic components.
• Use hand tools, soldering irons, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other test equipment.
• Read and interpret CMMs, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Work with electrical/electromechanical components including transducers, relays, capacitors, resistors.
• Document repairs, materials, and work orders accurately in company systems.
• Follow FAA requirements and company procedures for repairs.
