Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a Safety Intern for a 10–12 week term in the Dallas area to gain hands-on experience with our Environmental Health & Safety team. You will learn from EHS professionals, participate in site inspections, audits, and safety training, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives across projects.

You will work on safety inspections, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and documentation while developing a strong foundation in environmental health and safety

Qualifications

• Solid academic performance expected.
• Exhibits strong organizational and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Enrolled student with expected graduation by August 2027.
• Ability to work full-time or part-time Fall/Winter 2026 and full-time Summer 2027.
• Majors: Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or Environmental Science.
• ISO45001 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist EHS staff in conducting safety inspections and job hazard analyses at active sites.
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental requirements.
• Collect, track, and analyze safety data to identify trends and improvements.
• Support incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review and help prepare Job Safety Plans, JHAs, and Safety Reports.
• Assist in developing and delivering employee safety training and toolbox talks.
• Review environmental compliance records and waste handling documentation.
• Contribute to a Continuous Improvement project with a final presentation.
• Update records in the EHS database.

StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student looking to join our Environmental Health & Safety Team for the 2026-2027 term.

What you'll do:

• Assist EHS staff in conducting safety inspections and job hazard analyses at active electrical construction sites
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies
• Collect, track, and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
• Participate in the review and preparation of Job Safety Plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Safety Inspection Reports
• Assist in the development and delivery of employee safety training and toolbox talks
• Review and maintain environmental compliance records, such as hazardous material handling and waste disposal documentation
• Contribute to a Continued Improvement project aimed at improving safety or environmental processes, culminating in a presentation to company leaders
• Updating records in the Environmental Health & Safety database

Position Requirements:

• We're looking for students who have shown solid academic performance
• Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation on or before August 2027
• Ability to work full-time or part-time during Fall/Winter of 2026 and full-time during Summer 2027.
• Desired Majors: Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or Environmental Science
• ISO45001 experience preferred but not required.
• Must be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
• Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research, or previous internships.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
