Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Atlanta, GA to assemble small drones and sub-assemblies, performing quality checks and following detailed procedures. The role requires familiarity with medical device assembly, hand tools, and tight tolerances.

Onsite work in a clean environment with a 6-month contract-to-hire pathway. Candidates should have experience with UAVs/drones, electrical and avionics systems, and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100/TS16949.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical device assembly and QC processes.
• Ability to read and follow detailed checklists and procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS 9100 and TS16949 standards.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble drones and sub-assemblies using hand tools.
• Perform quality checks on parts and assemblies.
• Follow detailed checklists to ensure compliance and quality.
• Maintain mechanical aptitude throughout tasks.
