Job summary

D.O.M. magazine is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join our on-site Stafford, VA team. You will assemble electro-mechanical components for UAVs, perform wiring and testing, and ensure quality through rigorous inspection and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read drawings and schematics. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies per blueprints and specs.
  • Wiring and testing to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment accurately.
  • Inspect components and assemblies for defects per QC standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow protocols.
  • Document procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units.
  • Travel up to 20% as needed.
