Job summary

Gensler in San Francisco and Seattle is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams on aviation projects from concept through construction.

You will guide client relationships, manage design goals, schedules, budgets, and coordination with architects, engineers, and builders while upholding design excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project experience on large complex architectural projects.
• Aviation project experience is required.
• Registered architect or near completion of exams preferred.
• Experience with Design-build delivery methods is a plus.
• Strong leadership and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of design for large complex architectural projects from scope to construction.
• Coordinate with Studio Directors and clients to achieve project design goals.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings and communicate design and technical solutions.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and staffing for project teams.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and coordinate bidding processes.
