Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in the United States is offering a Delivery Operations Intern role to support the Delivery Operations Team with day-to-day activities and customer interactions. You will help with aircraft delivery event record keeping, scheduling, delivery setup, and flight-related tasks while gaining exposure to Cirrus aircraft operations.

Ancillary duties include safety management, line service activities, flight planning, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Current and active FAA Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating
• Current 1st or 2nd Class FAA Medical required
• 500 hours total time or 100 hours in Cirrus required
• CFI-Instrument Rating held
• Junior or Senior in good academic standing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and policies when performing job duties
• Provide excellent and professional customer service
• Participate as a member of a team of professional and dedicated employees
• Provide support through administrative processes within the Delivery Operations department
• Develop analytical, teamwork, goal setting and strategic planning skills
• Make timely and accurate decisions regarding safety of flight
• Record training event activities in pilot training records
• Act as pilot in command of Cirrus aircraft during corporate flight missions and demonstrations
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections and related tasks
• Manage travel expenses per Cirrus policies
• Continuous learning of Cirrus Aircraft developments
• Provide feedback for program improvements
• Identify needs to elevate concerns
• Develop safety communication and fleet management methods for flying club functions
• All other duties as assigned
