Job summary

Satair is seeking a Customer Resolution Specialist to join the team in Herndon, VA. You will manage customer inquiries, process spare parts orders for Airbus and competitor aircraft in the Americas, and collaborate with sales, finance, and engineering to ensure exemplary service.

The role combines order management, customer relationship development, and technical support, with onsite and remote work elements. The position requires an associate degree and 2+ years’ experience in customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the aviation industry or military support environment is highly desirable
• PC literacy, including intermediate word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and/or Google Suite programs)
• Basic knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order Processing: 60% of time handling orders, quotations, order receipts, entry, sourcing escalation, backorders, logs.
• Provide information on part availability, cost, sourcing, returns, discrepancies, transportation, delivery, and follow up.
• Relationship Building: 20% engage with customers to highlight Satair’s services and grow business.
• Identify alternative solutions and steer customers to proper sources for material to ensure satisfaction.
• Technical Support: 10% support debt account reconciliation and respond to technical inquiries with engineering.
• Other Duties as Assigned: 10%.
