Zusammenfassung

Amentum is seeking a temporary traffic management/cargo handler to perform packing, crating, labeling and documentation for air transportation. The role involves operating material handling equipment, loading/offloading pallets and containers, and ensuring compliance with USAF requirements and the Amentum QMS.

A Public Trust clearance is required. The position is 180 days in length, with benefits described in the contract.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supervising a diverse international workforce is desired.
• Must be able speak, read, and write English at a beginner level.
• Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain a host nation driver’s license.
• Will be required to operate material handling equipment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare freight for shipment including packing, crating, weighing, labeling and documenting cargo.
• Handle cargo per regulations and procedures; prepare shipping documents; assign Transportation Control Numbers (TCN).
• Load/offload 463L pallets, containers and trucks; inventory and inspect incoming freight.
• Operate MHE, wide body loaders and cranes following procedures.
• Maintain required publications, forms, and files for traffic management and air terminal operations.
