Job summary

Crucial MRO in Murphysboro, IL is seeking a Full-time Composite Repair & Aircraft Interiors Technician to join our FAA‑certified repair station. You’ll work on composite structures, interior panels, and light paint/prep work, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Experience in aviation body work or automotive paint is a plus, and existing FAA licenses are welcome. The role offers steady year‑round work, training, and opportunities to grow within a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Experience with composite repairs and paint prep preferred.
• Willing to pass security/background checks and drug testing.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite repairs using fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, and high-temp prep materials.
• Assist with aircraft interior repairs and refurbishment.
• Carry out sanding, masking, filling, and paint prep; single-stage paint systems are helpful.
• Apply automotive/aviation paint techniques and maintain safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow procedures.
