CTL Aerospace is a full-service repair station focused on the overhaul and repair of aircraft metal and composite components. We seek an Aviation Repair Technician for our northern Cincinnati, OH location, offering a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Candidates should have aircraft composite or sheet metal experience; FAA licensing is a plus and willingness to travel may be required. The role includes safety-critical duties and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Aircraft composite or sheet metal experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license a plus.
• Automotive body finishing/painting experience a plus.
• Industrial trade school training in automotive or aircraft-related fields a plus.
• Aluminum welding experience a plus.
• Mandatory FAA drug and alcohol screening.
• Able to work in a repair environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate a variety of basic hand tools and equipment (grinders, drills, rivet guns, sanders, etc.).
• Perform composite repairs including adhesive application, curing, painting and finishing of carbon fiber/fiberglass components.
• Perform adhesive bonding of components including layup, vacuum bagging and curing.
• Remove coatings and adhesives by media blasting, grinding or machining.
• Read and interpret repair procedures.
• Understand basic dimensioning and tolerances and translate repair instructions into action.
