Job summary

StandardAero in Dallas is seeking an Aviation CNC Machinist for weekend shift. You will setup, calibrate, and operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components, reading blueprints, and selecting appropriate measuring tools.

The role involves cross-training and supporting production with a focus on safety and quality. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of CNC experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Strong reading of blueprints and precise measurement skills.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool design.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, maintain and operate CNC machines.
• Read specifications, blueprints and layouts to determine operations.
• Verify dimensions using calipers, gauges and micrometers.
• Adjust tooling and machine settings; support process improvements.
• Work weekend shifts and ensure safety and quality standards.
