Job summary

Urban Engineers, Inc. seeks an Aviation Assistant Resident Project Representative to join our Construction Management team for aviation projects in the greater Harrisburg area.

You will support the CM team, monitor costs and schedules, and assist the Resident Project Representative onsite. The role requires a civil engineering or construction management degree, PA EIT preferred, and 2+ years in aviation construction or similar fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline.
• EIT Certification in Pennsylvania preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in design, inspection, or construction management of aviation projects or similar projects.
• Aviation construction experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the CM Team in aviation construction projects, including monitoring costs, schedule, claims, and overall project performance.
• Provide direct support to the Resident Project Representative.
• Perform daily field project oversight, monitoring, and documentation.
• Assist with project meetings and document meetings with minutes.
• Oversee project submissions, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, etc.
• Coordinate between the owner, contractors, designers, etc. involved in the construction process.
• Perform CPM schedule reviews.
• Payment Application processing.
• Monitor construction activities for conformance with contract documents.
• Stakeholder coordination with affected parties, local businesses, and the general public.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline

EIT Certificate (Pennsylvania)
