Urban is growing and seeking a qualified Aviation Assistant Resident Project Representative to work as part of our Construction Management (CM) Team on complex aviation projects in the Harrisburg region. You will provide technical support to our CM Team and assist with active aviation construction projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 2+ years of aviation CM/inspection experience, and proficiency in MS Office. EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction management or related field is required.
• EIT certificate is strongly preferred in PA.
• Minimum 2+ years in design, inspection, or CM of aviation projects or similar.
• Aviation construction experience is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support CM team in aviation construction projects, monitoring costs, schedule, claims, and overall project performance.
• Provide direct support to the Resident Project Representative.
• Perform daily field project oversight, monitoring and documentation.
• Assist with project meetings and document meeting minutes.
• Oversee submissions (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings) and coordinate with owner, contractors, designers.
• Perform CPM schedule reviews and payment application processing.
• Monitor construction activities for conformance with documents.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including the public and local businesses.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Support the CM Team in aviation construction projects, including monitoring costs, schedule, claims, and overall project performance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or a related discipline is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in design, inspection, or construction management of aviation projects or similar projects.
• Aviation or similar construction experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.

Pay Rate

$70,000 - $95,000 / annually + travel reimbursement
