Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Client Accounting Director to lead a dedicated accounting team serving managed aircraft owners. You will oversee monthly financial statements, cash management, and complex reporting while partnering with owners, crew, and leadership to deliver accurate, timely financial information.

This role requires 10+ years in accounting with strong leadership and ERP experience, ideally Oracle Fusion.

Qualifications

10+ years of accounting/financial operations experience in a mid-sized to large organization; aviation experience preferred.
5+ years of people-management or team leadership experience.
Strong understanding of financial and project accounting, AP/AR, cash management, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary financial point of contact for assigned managed aircraft owners and their financial teams.
Ensure timely delivery of monthly client statements, reporting packages, and supporting information.
Review financial activity, trends, budgets, and variances; provide explanations and respond to reporting requests.
Oversee client cash management, bank balances, funding, and anticipated cash needs.
Monitor AP/AR, aging, and reconciliations; resolve funding, billing, and payment issues.
Review and approve payments (ACH, wire, checks) with internal controls.
Lead month-end close readiness for client portfolios and related reconciliations.
Provide oversight for transactions in Oracle Fusion and related documentation.
