Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. invites students to join its Aviation Civil Engineering internship in Orlando, FL. You will develop designs, gather data, and prepare reports under supervision using AutoCAD/Civil3D and GIS tools.

The position targets ABET-accredited civil engineering students who have completed at least their junior year and possess strong analytical, communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Some site travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in ABET-accredited civil engineering program.
• Junior-year completion or current enrollment in 4-year college.
• More than 60 hours coursework considered for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design development and preparation of construction documents (plans and material specs) and related cost estimates.
• Collecting and assembling data for engineering or environmental reports and studies.
• Performing/calculating surveying, geotechnical testing, and pipe inspections reports.
