RS&H in Tampa, FL is seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead aviation and civil infrastructure projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and delivery while growing client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

The role demands a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a PE or near-term licensure, and extensive project design experience within aviation or transportation sectors. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and strong communication are essential.

• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites throughout the region.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join our expanding Tampa, FL office. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity to work on a wide range of civil and aviation-related infrastructure projects, including local assignments for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (HCAA) and large-scale airport initiatives across the country.

Role Summary

As a Civil Engineer / Project Manager, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of planning, design, and delivery of complex projects. You’ll play a key role in business development, project execution, and client relationship management—while also helping to mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of our Tampa Aviation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage a variety of aviation and civil infrastructure projects
• Oversee stormwater, utility infrastructure, and pavement design and assessments
• Manage construction support services, including construction management and inspection
• Lead and coordinate large, multi-disciplinary design teams
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications

Required Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and related engineering software
