The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Lead Material Handler to support Transportation Handling Services at the airport. This role involves expediting and routing incoming and outgoing cargo for air transportation, with a 2am–10am shift. Applicants should be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license, and have basic shipping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• Previous shipping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.

Responsibilities

• Builds up and breaks down cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines.
• Ensures all company and customer safety standards are met and maintained.
• Identifies cargo that does not meet customer or company standards and or guidelines.
• Organizes freight within the warehouse according to the base storage plan.
• Properly and safely loads and unloads freight.
