Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a CRS Capital Equipment Project Manager in Cincinnati, OH to lead standardization, risk management, procurement, installation, and maintenance for capital equipment and automated systems across CRS. You will coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure equipment meets safety and production requirements.

The role demands strong project management, budgeting, vendor selection, and cross-functional collaboration, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years' experience managing capital equipment projects in manufacturing or MRO environments.
• 3+ years of demonstrated project management skills, including schedule and budget control.
• 3+ years of experience managing equipment lifecycle, preventative maintenance, and risk management activities and creating technical documentation.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Ownership: manage equipment projects from initial need identification to procurement, final commissioning, and operations handover.
• Project Management: manage capital equipment projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and handover — schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Resource & Schedule Management: develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and track key milestones using scheduling tools.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: primary contact for engineers, operations, procurement and external suppliers; lead RFQs, evaluation and contracts.
• Budget & BOM Control: oversee project finances and BOM accuracy; ensure estimates cover procurement and installation.
• Standardization: standardize equipment across CRS to reduce variance, cost, and downtime.
• Risk Management: develop and maintain equipment risk profiles that inform purchases and upgrades.
• Preventative Maintenance & Lifecycle: define maintenance methodologies and lifecycle cost analyses to maximize asset uptime.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: ensure equipment complies with safety standards before production turnover.
• Continuous Improvement & Technology Insertion: drive improvements and tech upgrades for productivity, safety and reliability.
• Documentation & Training: create installation plans, maintenance procedures, acceptance criteria, and training materials.
• Cross‑functional Coordination: coordinate engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality and safety for compliance.
