Job summary

Ascent Aerospace, a world-class provider of automated assembly systems for aerospace, seeks a Project Manager to steer capital equipment projects from design through installation. You will manage scope, schedule, and cost, collaborate with internal teams, and present status to customers.

The role emphasizes strong communication, scheduling rigor, and leadership in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have 5+ years in PM, a BS in engineering or related field, CAD reading ability, P&L

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related business field with PM focus.
• Minimum 5 years in a Program/Project Management role.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/CAD and understand P&L and cash management.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to obtain a DoD security clearance and ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance, cost, and schedule within contractual boundaries.
• Maintain Integrated Master Schedule using MS Project and coordinate changes.
• Build and nurture external and internal customer relationships.
• Identify and mitigate risks; perform variance analysis with Finance.
• Lead change control, capturing cost and schedule impacts.
• Provide leadership in a matrix organization and mentor teammates.
