Job summary

Metris Global is seeking an Aviation C4ISR Instructor to provide instruction in C4ISR and aviation-related technology to SME. This non-exempt, Service Contract Act position reports to the Mobile AL Site Lead and requires a SECRET clearance.

The role focuses on delivering training, maintaining equipment proficiency, and updating courseware per customer requirements, with supervision from the AVN C4ISR Branch Chief and other leaders.

Qualifications

• Three years professional teaching in C4ISR or aviation tech.
• Three years’ experience as a U.S. Coast Guard surveillance or communications systems operator.
• Two years’ experience assessing upgraded and newly fielded systems and advising changes to manuals and courseware.
• Experience performing Instructional Systems Development tasks per USCG SOPs.
• Experience using computer-based training aids, simulators, and instructor-led training.
• Adheres to Coast Guard instructional materials and demonstrates instructional methods.

Responsibilities

• Instruct in systems and operations used by the Military, including tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Assess upgraded systems and recommend changes to manuals and courseware to ISD points of contact.
• Maintain operational proficiency of affected equipment with in-flight experience as required.
• Take direction from AVN C4ISR Branch Chief and section leaders; perform other duties as assigned.
