Job summary

Oxford Electronics, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain vertical baggage handling and related systems in a high-demand operations environment.

You will work autonomously or with a crew, replacing mechanical devices and understanding 480V and lower voltages under lead supervision. The role requires 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a 24/7 schedule including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to attain Airport I.D. badge.
• Experience in an industrial environment or minimum 1 year as maintenance mechanic.
• Proven experience as a welder.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe practices and customer service at ALL times.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and electrical equipment such as motors, electrical circuits, conveyor systems and SICK ATR systems using diagrams and specs.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Communicate status of work to control room and manager.
• Analyze root causes of electrical failures and propose remedies and optimizations.
