ERMC Aviation is seeking a BHS and PBB Maintenance Technician to join our team at the AVL Airport. You will perform routine maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges, diagnose faults, and support preventive maintenance while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires the ability to work nights and weekends, read manuals, and obtain security clearances as needed. A full range of benefits is provided for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems including conveyors and control systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing automated control systems and PLCs.
• Familiar with sensors, actuators, and industrial controls.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on baggage handling systems to ensure proper operation.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system faults.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Adjust or calibrate machinery as needed.
• Monitor system performance and perform quality checks.
• Read repair manuals and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Complete work forms and comply with company guidelines.
