Job summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking an Avionics Installer to support removal and installation of avionics components and wire harnesses. The role requires reading schematics and blueprints and may involve DOT/FAA drug-and-alcohol program participation.

The position offers full-time contract work with potential for extension and a chance to become direct-hire after 90 days. Competitive hourly pay and standard benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; experience ranges from entry level to two years in aviation electronics or four years in avionics.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Valid driver's license may be required; DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program participation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in removal/installation of avionics components and fabrication of wiring harnesses, fixtures and equipment.
• Install, modify, fabricate wiring and electrical components according to blueprints and drawings; perform ring-out and tests.
• Provide work direction to technicians and coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft.
