Job summary

SCB Computer Technology, Inc. seeks talented Architects for our aviation practice in the Chicago office. Join a national, multi-disciplinary firm focused on aviation, academic, adaptive reuse, and multi-family projects.

You will work under a Project Architect/Project Manager, preparing design studies, technical drawings, and BIM outputs with consultants. You should have a professional architecture degree, 5–15 years of post-graduate experience, and licensure in progress or attainment.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture and licensure in progress or attained.
• 5–15 years post-graduate, full-time experience in an architectural firm.
• Strong design sensibility and detail orientation; good communication skills.
• Knowledge of local zoning, building codes, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement project design philosophy and support project execution through design and construction phases.
• Develop design drawings, visualizations, and technical studies with project leaders.
• Manage time and organize tasks, including oversight of junior staff.
• Collaborate with design consultants and project team; participate in client presentations.
• Oversee BIM modeling and mentor junior staff; promote innovative system applications.
