Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation innovator to hire an Aftermarket Repair Technician in Wichita, KS. This full-time/12-month contract role focuses on inspecting, repairing, overhauling, and refurbishing engines and components to maintain the highest levels of safety and performance.

First shift, Monday–Friday, with a strong emphasis on quality and regulatory compliance. The position offers hands-on opportunities with aerospace engines and parts, paying $33.95 per hour,

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical components, engines, or overhaul operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, repair manuals, schematics.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using hand tools, precision measuring devices, and repair equipment.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, overhaul, and refurbish engines, modules, and components.
• Disassemble, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment per manuals and drawings.
• Evaluate condition and determine repair actions; ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Assist with technical investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Support process improvements to enhance quality and turnaround times.
