Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Composite Mechanic in Wichita, KS. This full-time contract opportunity focuses on high-precision aerospace composite fabrication, repair, and assembly for advanced aircraft components.

You will operate curing and forming equipment, perform repairs, and support production with a safety-first mindset. Immediate start and ability to work 1st or 2nd shift are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace composite fabrication or repair.
• Proficient basic to intermediate computer skills for shop systems.
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for entire shifts.
• Immediate availability to start work.
• Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift with overtime/weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate composite fabrication equipment including impregnating, cutting, curing machines.
• Load/unload ovens and autoclaves for curing aircraft parts.
• Perform composite repairs and modifications with bonding equipment.
• Disassemble and prep assemblies for repair or rework.
• Support other production and manufacturing activities as required.
