The City of McAllen is seeking an Aviation Crew Leader to direct daily activities of aviation maintenance and custodial teams across airport facilities. You will coordinate scheduling, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet safety and operational standards.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to lead, coordinate, assign, and monitor the daily activities of Aviation Maintenance and Custodial personnel responsible for maintaining airport terminal facilities and related infrastructure. This position oversees maintenance and housekeeping activities associated with terminal buildings, baggage handling systems, HVAC and chiller systems, passenger boarding bridges, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and airport support facilities. The Aviation Crew Leader ensures assigned personnel complete work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established airport maintenance standards, regulatory requirements, and operational needs. This position works under general supervision and exercises independent judgment in coordinating work assignments and responding to operational issues.
