Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Aviation Supervisor, Cabin Services to oversee daily aircraft cabin cleaning operations and ensure safe, efficient service for each flight. You will lead a team of cabin cleaners, coordinate staffing, and ensure on‑time departures while upholding the highest quality standards.

You will train staff, perform quality inspections, enforce safety protocols, and communicate with airline representatives and operations management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in aviation, cabin services, or related operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badges.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise cabin service agents responsible for cleaning and preparing aircraft interiors.
  • Ensure cabins, galleys, lavatories, and seat areas meet specifications.
  • Coordinate staffing to support flight schedules and on‑time performance.
  • Conduct quality inspections before aircraft departure.
  • Train and develop staff on procedures, safety, and standards.
  • Monitor productivity and performance; apply corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure FAA, OSHA, and airport policy compliance.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and payroll tasks.

Job Description

The Aviation Supervisor, Cabin Services, is responsible for overseeing daily aircraft cabin cleaning operations to ensure all assigned flights are serviced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with airline, airport, and company standards. This position leads a team of cabin cleaners, monitors operational performance, and ensures aircraft are cleaned and prepared for timely departures while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Pay: $19.50/hour.

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401(k)

- You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise cabin service agents responsible for cleaning and preparing aircraft interiors.
  • Ensure aircraft cabins, galleys, lavatories, tray tables, seat areas, and other designated areas are cleaned according to airline specifications.
  • Coordinate staffing and work assignments to support flight schedules and on‑time performance goals.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure all cleaning standards are met before aircraft departure.
  • Train, coach, and develop employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, customer expectations, and company policies.
  • Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and performance; provide corrective action and recognition as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, airport security requirements, airline standards, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with airline representatives, airport personnel, and operations management.
  • Investigate operational issues, delays, accidents, or safety concerns and complete required documentation.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and payroll‑related activities.
  • Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
  • Support operational needs during irregular operations, flight delays, and peak travel periods.
Qualifications
  • Must have a Valid State Driver's License for a minimum of 1 year
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in aviation, cabin services, housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, or related operations.
  • Previous airline or airport operations experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badges and credentials.
Preferred Experience
  • Aircraft cabin cleaning or airline ground operations experience.
  • Experience leading large teams in a time‑sensitive operational environment.
  • Knowledge of airline service standards and safety procedures.
  • Experience with workforce scheduling and performance management.
