Aveanna Healthcare in Loxahatchee, FL is seeking a pediatric private duty RN to provide one-on-one in-home nursing care for a child with high-acuity needs, including G-tube management and trach/vent care. Shifts include day and overnight hours, up to 56 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on case availability.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida RN license and have pediatric experience, including caring for trach and ventilator needs, and can coordinate with families and schools

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Pediatric nursing experience, particularly with trach and ventilator care.
• Comfortable with G-tube management and high-acuity nursing needs.
• Able to keep up with an active routine, including school attendance and appointments.
• Comfortable working in a home with a service dog and other children present.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
  • Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
