Responsibilities

• Architect and design VDI solutions and provide Tier 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.
• Guide on desktop optimization for platform interoperability and act as liaison between VDI technologies.
• Provide endpoint support on issues and troubleshooting for Virtual Desktop tasks.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of administration, engineering, and implementation of VDI technologies.
• Operate across multiple, complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Apply extensive technical expertise and cross-disciplinary knowledge.

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Engineerto support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, virtual desktop environment. This role will be the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issues across the organization. Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration and process automation and improvement. Must also be well versed in Network, storage, Azure AD and Intune.

We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record designing, implementing and maintaining VDI in a large enterprise. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who exceeds as an individual, as well as excels among peers in a team environment. The individual should possess a passion for operational excellence and a high level of interpersonal and soft skills.

Responsibilities:

• In addition to architecting and designing, the VDI Engineer will provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues.

• Some experience (2+ years’) with Azure Security Tools (e.g. Sentinel)
• Experience with Nerdio

$113,200 - $237,800
