Job description

Stamm Media is looking for a service-oriented individual with experience and/or interest in audio visual and computer technology. Under the direction of the warehouse manager, participate in warehouse shipping/receiving, stocking, organizing, and quality control of rental equipment. This also includes maintaining an accurate inventory control system, ensuring a well-organized warehouse, and assisting with order fulfillment and related functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare shipments to other locations, job sites, or customers.
2. Ensure equipment is complete, accurate, and safely packed for shipping.
3. Determine method of shipment by utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, rates, and routes.
4. Schedule freight and package pickups with shipping carriers.
5. Ensure branch inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the company operating system.
6. Accurately receive product into inventory.
7. Maintain physical organization of the warehouse.
8. Maintain inventory control system ensuring all stock movements are properly tracked and accounted for.
9. Keep warehouse in a clean and organized state.
10. Participate in regular inventory cycle count program.
11. Convey materials and items from receiving to production areas or storage as needed.
12. Participate in continuous improvement.
13. Quality control inbound technology checking for damages, test, clean and return stock to designated area.
14. Loading and unloading trucks, driving equipment to show or event location, occasional setup, occasional strike and returning audio visual, video and sound equipment from trade shows and events.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
2. Experience operating standup forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
3. Must be able to work as a team member and on own.
4. Good interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
6. Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office.
7. Must hold a valid license with a clean driving record.
8. Requires loading/unloading of company vehicles.
