Job summary

Springboard Automation seeks a hands-on Technician to pull, terminate and test low‑voltage cabling, mount end devices, and build equipment racks. You will configure advanced systems and troubleshoot networks across field sites in the NY area.

Eligible candidates have construction site experience, Lutron Homeworks certification or equivalent, and a willingness to travel. The role offers full‑time hours, benefits, and travel compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites with ability to climb ladders and use power/hand tools.
• Lutron Homeworks Certified or Equivalent; Crestron/C4 Panelized Lighting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron).
• Mount devices at the ends of wires.
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices.
• Advanced understanding of networks.
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices.
• Programming (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron).

Location: New York, NY (Springboard)

Compensation: $35.00 - $48.00 / hour

Description

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Location:

• Between Philadelphia and NYC - ability to commute to either location
• Projects are located in the surrounding area

Your Schedule:

• Full Time (40hrs/Wk) – We do not short your hours!!!
• Mon-Fri: Mon-Fri from 8am to 4pm or 9am-5pm + travel (required)
