Job Summary:

Works independently and with other installers in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible for the timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned.

Requires excellent communication skills. Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply “best practices” theory. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to use hand and power tools.

Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas:

1. Communication with all levels of the company
2. All company paperwork
3. Prewire and retrofit
4. Trimming
5. Job completion
6. Troubleshooting
7. Learning new task/skills

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Prewiring for audio, visual and home automation on new construction projects
2. Retro fit wiring of existing houses/structures
3. Trimming of plates, speakers, waps, lighting keypads, etc.
4. TV installation of all types: Flat, Frame, Articulating, etc.
5. Basic electrical knowledge/skill
6. Satellite/Cable systems install
7. IP and analog camera install and setup
8. Basic security knowledge/skill
9. Rack install and wiring
10. Network/Wireless systems installation and setup
11. House audio systems install and setup
12. Theater system install and setup

Minimum Job Requirements:

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills
2. Minimum 1 year experience in the home electronics or related field
3. Willing to relearn the Southeaston way
4. Willing/wanting to become part of the team
5. Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
6. Ability to work on rotating “on-call” service schedule
7. Proficient in all Assistant level qualifications and willing to show it
8. Competent skills in desktop and mobile computing
9. Clean driving record and background check
