Job summary

Mercer University in Illinois seeks an Audio Visual Student Technician to assist the IT Client Support Services with AV setups and classroom technology support. You will work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with some evenings or weekends; most tasks are quick and you’re paid for the hour plus overtime. Training provided; no prior AV experience required.

The role offers student work-study with a 20-hour schedule and a pay rate of $10.00–$11.00 per hour, plus overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with AV setups and classroom technology.
• Load media content onto room computers and ensure display on projectors or TVs.
• Move and set up speaker systems and projection equipment.
• Support video conferences via Cisco Webex and Zoom.
