Job summary

CS Erickson in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a results‑driven leader to oversee the operational execution of AV and Structured Cabling solutions. You will build and manage engineering and project delivery teams, ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet company standards.

The role owns short‑term P&L for the groups, drives gross margin and labor efficiency, and translates strategy into scalable processes and team structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or 5+ years of experience in AV integration, Structured Cabling, or similar environments.
• Proven experience leading Engineering and/or Project Management teams.
• Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Effective communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance across AV and structured cabling projects, including schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team of Project Managers, Coordinators, and Engineers.
• Own short-term P&L, driving revenue, gross margin and labor efficiency targets.
• Establish scalable processes across Engineering and Project Management from handoff to closeout.
• Monitor financial health, forecast accurately, and manage change orders.
• Ensure standards for quality, documentation, and client communication are followed.
• Align resources with active project needs and the sales pipeline with senior leadership.
