Job summary

Phoenix Systems in Brentwood, TN is seeking an experienced Audio/Video installation technician to join our team. You will install, activate, and service security and AV systems for high-end clients, train customers on system operation, and coordinate with monitoring and entry control services.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in security/AV installations, knowledge of Control4 or similar automation, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in security and AV installations.
Control4 Associate Installer & Automation Programmer certifications preferred.
Knowledge of cable types and networking requirements.
Ability to clear a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Performs service, installation, and activation of security systems, surround sound systems, system components, speakers, TV hangs, remote controls, and systems requiring Control4 automation products and lighting.
Communicate with the customer to review the work orders, answer customer questions professionally and properly.
Instruct and train the customer/end user on the system functions and operation.
Must also be able to work and perform duties of Trim Technician.
Troubleshoot and repair security system problems, malfunctions, and false alarms.
