Job summary

Zoox is seeking an AV Safety Software Data Reporting Engineer in Foster City, CA. You will build and maintain data gathering, analysis, and reporting for safety events, supporting regulatory requirements and internal learnings.

You will design dashboards in Looker/Databricks, optimize data pipelines, and collaborate with Legal, Policy, Operations, Vehicle Engineering, and Safety teams to scale reliable operations.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS/DS/Robotics/Statistics.
• 4+ years of experience with large-scale data.
• Strong Python (pandas, PySpark) and SQL skills.
• Experience building dashboards (Looker/Databricks/Tableau).
• Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain safety data gathering and reporting.
• Develop dashboards to track safety data and learnings.
• Improve data pipelines and triage processes for quick reporting.
