Job summary

Bluestone Communications is seeking an AV Post-Sales Engineer to review complex project requirements and produce comprehensive drawing packages, including floor plans and elevations. You will collaborate with project teams, craft Bill of Materials, and support on-site installation and commissioning to ensure cost-effective AV solutions.

You will work with end users to assess needs, provide proposals with labor estimates, travel, shipping, and coordinate with manufacturers for product

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
5+ years Audio Visual Experience.
AVIXA CTS certification.
CTS-I and/or CTS-D Certification (preferred).
Proficiency in AV product lines and software: Extron, Q-Sys, Crestron, Biamp, Logitech, Cisco, Poly, Barco, etc.
Proficient with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Able to work in fast-paced engineering environments with deadlines.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and interpret complex project solicitations.
Create detailed drawing packages using AutoCAD and/or Visio.
Develop rack elevations and mounting details coordinated with MEP and Low Voltage.
Provide technical support to installation teams, field engineers, and service technicians.
Develop/Confirm Bill of Materials and related costs and scope of work.
