Job summary

General Motors (GM) is seeking an AV Operations Coordinator to lead frontline operations for manual and supervised AV test activities. You will plan, launch, and stabilize operations across markets, train new hires, and collaborate across engineering, incident response, and vendor partners to ensure safe, high-quality data delivery.

The role requires 2+ years in vehicle operations or related fields, travel up to 50%, and strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle operations management or related roles.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the US.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in new markets and program launches (manual data collection and supervised operations in new cities).
• Develop and refine operational procedures and checklists for safe garage operations and AVTO launch activities.
• Document, communicate, and implement safe driving procedures including vehicle prep, cleaning, charging, and deployment tasks.
• Train new AVTO hires on fleet safety protocols and safe driving practices.
• Identify operational issues and implement improvements to procedures and workflows.
• Collaborate with fleet management and internal teams to support end-to-end safe, efficient operations.
