Wildfire Technology Integration, LLC is hiring an AV Integration Specialist to install and integrate commercial audiovisual systems from rough‑in through final completion. You'll work with project managers, electricians, and clients to deliver high‑quality installations that meet demanding environments.

Requirements include 3+ years of AV installation experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate commercial audiovisual systems from rough-in through final completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and clients.
• Install and terminate CAT6, fiber optic, and AV cabling.
• Install equipment racks, mounting hardware, displays, and related infrastructure.
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Read installation drawings and coordinate with project documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Communicate professionally with customers and contractors.
• Participate in manufacturer training and certification.
• Support client orientation and system handoff.

What You'll Be Doing

As an AV Integration Specialist, you'll install and integrate commercial audiovisual systems from rough‑in through final completion while working alongside project managers, field engineers, electricians, general contractors, and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing commercial audiovisual systems including displays, video walls, speakers, amplifiers, DSPs, microphones, control processors, touch panels, cameras, and related equipment
• Installing and terminating CAT6, fiber optic, and AV cabling following company standards and industry best practices
• Installing equipment racks, mounting hardware, displays, speakers, and associated infrastructure
• Assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and preparing systems for final commissioning
• Reading installation drawings and coordinating work with project documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Communicating professionally with customers, contractors, and fellow team members
• Participating in manufacturer training and continuous professional development
• Supporting client orientation and system handoff when appropriate

You'll work on projects ranging from enterprise conference rooms and collaboration spaces to public safety command centers, emergency operations centers, network operations centers, and utility control rooms.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial AV installation experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in construction environments
• Ability to travel to customer sites as required

Preferred:

• CTS certification (or willingness to obtain with company sponsorship)
• Experience with commercial AV manufacturers such as Crestron, Biamp, Shure, Barco, Q‑SYS, Cisco, HP | Poly, or similar platforms
• Experience terminating CAT6 and fiber optic cabling
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals
• Ability to read AV drawings, blueprints, and system schematics

Travel

Most projects are located throughout New Jersey, New York, and Eastern Pennsylvania, with occasional nationwide travel for larger projects.

Company transportation is provided during the workday whenever applicable.

Typical travel is approximately 50%.

Schedule

This is a full‑time hourly position.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support customer schedules and project deadlines.
