Job summary

EnvelopiQ is seeking an AV Installation Technician to complete technical installation and management of audiovisual systems. You will fabricate racks, terminate and calibrate equipment, and implement control and video conference systems.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in AV installation. Proficiency with basic networking and firmware updates is preferred. Pre-hire drug test, driving report, and background check apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or trade school courses in electrical, electronics, or communication systems preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team members to ensure seamless execution of AV projects.
• Pull wires to locations per design while protecting cables and abiding by standards.
• Safely rig devices and verify AV system performance against specifications.
• Terminate cables with correct connectors and test all aspects of the system.
• Build racks, organize cabling, and ensure proper heat dissipation.
