Job summary

Cenero is seeking an Audio Visual Installation Technician in New Jersey to support on-site installation, calibration, and maintenance of AV systems. You will aid in basic and advanced integration projects, work with networked AV hardware, and ensure proper safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires familiarity with AV equipment, basic networking, and strong teamwork. Training and certifications may be pursued, and health benefits, PTO, and a company gym are available.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment and/or general construction.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, and firewalls preferred.
• Basic knowledge of VTC, ATC, networking software, and hardware preferred.
• Strong reading and interpretation of product specs, wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings.
• Maintenance of a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical assistance for basic and advanced integration projects.
• Calibrate and tune audio and video levels and signals per performance standards.
• Diagnose and correct signal flow issues with standard troubleshooting methods.
• Provide mechanical installation support and ensure hardware is installed safely as designed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and participate in improvement processes.
• Report daily updates to Lead Installation Technician and Production Manager.
• Support document control and field mark-ups where needed.
