Job summary

Kodiak is seeking an AV Fleet Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our vehicle fleet in a shop setting. You will handle AV systems work and support day-to-day fleet operations to keep vehicles safe and operational.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in fleet or technical ops and are eager to learn AV diagnostics and systems. This position offers hands-on growth in a structured environment with experienced technicians guiding your development.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in fleet, automotive, or technical ops
• Experience with heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers
• Hands-on electrical repair incl. wiring harnesses & connectors
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Basic maintenance or mechanical systems experience
• Willingness to learn AV systems and diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on vehicles
• Complete work orders accurately and on time
• Perform inspections and basic repairs following SOPs
• Work with AV components including sensors, diagnostics, and system checks under guidance
• Capture logs, photos, and diagnostic data as required
• Follow defined workflows for AV tasks and escalate issues
• Follow SOPs and complete required documentation
• Operate within shift briefs, debriefs, and handoffs
• Be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and communicate clearly
