Job summary

FORTÉ, Inc. in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites, diagnose and repair AV systems, and perform maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

You should have experience in AV service/installation, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset with a willingness to travel. CTS certification is preferred; other related certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in service or installation of AV systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot AV connectivity and issues.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication with a customer-service approach.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• CTS Certification preferred; other related certs welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose technical issues with AV systems, including troubleshooting connectivity.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on operation and functionality of AV equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Assist in documenting service procedures and service-related activities.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality service to clients.
