Job summary

CloudRoom AV, Inc. (CRAV) seeks a hands-on AV Field Technician to install, configure, and commission Windows-based AV systems in Nashville/Memphis region. You will support imaging, AD/GP, and server-related tasks while deploying CloudRoom AV software on customer systems.

Travel within Tennessee and nearby states is expected to keep sites live and documented. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in AV installation and Windows IT support, with strong cabling skills and familiarity with networked AV

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of combined experience in AV installation and Windows IT support.
• Hands-on AV install experience covering signal flow, cabling, termination, rack builds, and conferencing systems.
• Solid Windows 10/11 administration skills and familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (AD, Microsoft 365, Teams Rooms a plus).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission AV systems: displays, cameras, microphones, DSPs, switchers, and control interfaces.
• Set up and support Windows-based AV PCs, including imaging, drivers, updates, user accounts, and basic Active Directory and Group Policy work
• Deploy and configure CloudRoom AV software on customer systems
• Troubleshoot network, audio, video, and Windows issues on-site and remotely
• Work with project managers, integrators, and customer IT teams to get systems live and documented
• Train end users on day-to-day operation

AV Field Technician (Windows/IT + AV Integration): Tennessee (Nashville / Memphis Region)

CloudRoom AV | Full-Time | Field-Based with Regional Travel

CloudRoom AV builds Windows-based AV control software that powers courtrooms, classrooms, and meeting spaces. Our product family includes OneTouch, Matrix X, Processor X, and Bridge X. We’re growing in Tennessee and need a hands‑on technician who’s as comfortable in a Windows environment as on a ladder running cable.

What you’ll do

• Install, configure, and commission AV systems: displays, cameras, microphones, DSPs, switchers, and control interfaces

What we’re looking for

• 2–5 years of combined experience in AV installation and Windows IT support


• Hands‑on AV install experience covering signal flow, cabling, termination, rack builds, and conferencing systems


• Solid Windows 10/11 administration skills and familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (AD, Microsoft 365, Teams Rooms a plus)


• Working knowledge of networking basics: IP addressing, VLANs, switches, and network AV such as Dante or AV‑over‑IP


• Comfort working in secure or government facilities (courts, schools, public buildings)


• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Tennessee and neighboring states

Nice to have

• CTS, Dante Level 1/2, CompTIA A+/Network+, or Microsoft certifications


• Experience with Crestron, Extron, Q‑SYS, or Biamp


• Courtroom or education AV experience

Based in or near Nashville or Memphis, TN. Candidates in surrounding areas (e.g., Jackson, Clarksville, Murfreesboro, northern MS, southern KY) are welcome to apply.

Compensation:
